The plan was to harvest the rhubarb growing in the school wildflower garden and use it to make crumble but unfortunately when it was pulled, the crop was not good enough to eat. A parent stepped in to save the day and kindly donated a box of cooking apples. After deciding on the recipe to use, the children organised themselves and made a delicious apple crumble. The crumble was enjoyed with custard.
