School lights were turned off and the doors locked as the whole school headed off to Palace Stables for an end of term treat funded by the PTA. The children stepped back in time to learn about palace life in 1786. They made apple potato bread and apple juice. They learned the story of apples from farm to fork and created a souvenir apple craft to take home.
