Big headed?
29th Jan 2018
Some P6 and P7 pupils carried out an investigation to see if height is three times head circumference (H=3C). After lots of measurement the children concluded this only works for tall people. They then 'googled' it and found out this is the ratio for fully grown adults and that a child's height is typically 2.2 times head circumference. The data told this story and P6/7's mathematical reasoning was very impressive.
