P5/6/7 attended the Sentinus Young Innovators Big Bang Fair at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown on Monday 13th June. The children participated in two workshops. The first, entitled Shooterbug introduced pupils to the world of computer programming. Pupils had the opportunity to programme LEGO Mindstorm Shooter Bugs to negotiate a course. The second workshop entitled Amazing Structures involved children working in teams to build structures large enough to sit in, while learning about how engineers build bridges and pylons.
