Bedtime was postponed on Tuesday as pupils returned to school for a wildlife night walk. Equipped with torches the children went in search of mini-beasts under the guidance of Karen Shiel from the RSPB. The children positioned an infra-red camera beside a hedgehog home built by P1-3 and they left biscuit covered banana treats as bait to attract hedgehogs. Hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and cream was served to all at the end of the evening and the teachers agreed to ignore the yawns in school the following day!
